Aluminum Adapter KitDon't be fooled by the look-alikes out there!!!!! They may cost less for the purchase but they will cost you more when you install them. Our Quality product is the best by far.Keep your Studebaker engine and put a Chevrolet Automatic Transmission behind it.Michael has developed an aluminum adapter kit to replace the Studebaker automatic transmission. You can use any Chevrolet V-8 Automatic Transmission for your conversion. We have done several here in the shop, including Michael's 1962 Lark Convertible. He used the 700R4 transmission and it drove like a dream on the Hot Rod Power Tour.
The adapter kit comes with the starter or without the starter. It is your choice. The starter we use is from a Ford 2.8 or 2.9 engine, 88, 89. See instructions above.
